I've always had a passion for hair. I started in Elementary school tormenting my older cousins by braiding their hair for hours. By Middle School I was French braiding initials into the female athletes' hair during chorus (which is why I won't sing for you). And High School was spent fixing friends' botched cuts and OOPS colors. Before dances, girls were lined up eight deep to get their prom do's.

Fortunately my passion has only since grown, and fortunately for you education has now been added to the mix!

We've all left a salon knowing our hair will never look the same as it does at that moment. Sometimes this brings relief — we can go home and wash out the bouffant — and no one will be the wiser. However, sometimes we've liked the style and know that we'd better enjoy looking great for that day, because six weeks until the next hair cut is a long time to look great again. Our goal at Solé Sassafrass is to give you not only a great design, but also the tools to make the design work for you on a daily basis.
